Non-Restricted Possession Acquisition License (PAL)
The PAL course is your first step in joining the Firearm community whether it be for sport shooting or hunting in Ontario and across Canada. The Possession Acquisition License is delivered under the Authority of the Chief Firearms Office of Ontario and the Firearms Safety Education Service of Ontario. At the Wolfs Den we are one of Ontario’s Largest Course Depots with generally 3-4 courses a month, less holidays and long weekends, and provide a spacious and comfortable atmosphere to learn.
Restricted Possession Acquisition Licence
(R-PAL)
The Restricted Possession Acquisition License is the necessary Federal designation in order to purchase, possess, transport, and use Restricted Firearms in Canada. Acquiring your Restricted License opens up a wide variety of sport shooting opportunities you can get involved with such as IPSC, PPC, Cowboy Action, and many other restricted firearm events. Not only this, but holding a valid Restricted PAL is a great stepping stone for a career as a Police Officer, Brinks Driver, Border Security, and many other popular professions.
Ontario Hunter Education Course
At the Wolfs Den the Hunter Education Program is one of the main courses we offer and generally offered every weekend with some exceptions for holidays and long weekends. If you have always wanted to go with Friends, Family, and join the community don’t wait any longer, this course is for you. Usually taught in conjunction with the Non-Restricted PAL, this course can also be taken as a stand alone course as well. This Provincial designated course allows successful students to purchase licenses and tags to hunt a wide variety of species in Ontario in accordance with Ontario laws.
GET EDUCATED WITH THE WOLF'S DEN
At the Wolfs Den we are one of Ontario’s Largest Course Depots with generally 3-4 courses a month, less holidays and long weekends, and provide a spacious and comfortable atmosphere to learn. This space is provided to FSESO appointed instructors who are responsible for the delivery, proctoring, and paperwork involved in the course delivery and completion.
Courses are held on select Saturdays and Sundays year round and lunch is available for purchase on-site.
